about lindsay

Lindsay's entire life has been devoted to developing personal awareness in an attempt to better understand herself in relation to the world. This has sent her on a quest for spiritual teachings as well as a better understanding of interpersonal relationships. Formal studies include many diverse aspects starting with a career as a Registered Nurse specializing in mental health and psychiatry. She is a Certified and Registered Hypnotheratpist. Her experience includes inpatient and outpatient counselling, working with crisis, emergency mental health assessment, forensics and short term therapy. She has studied and practiced Advanced Energy Healing with several influencial teachers including Tanis Day author and teacher at Inner Vision and Steve Rother, author and trainer, Lightworkers, Inc., Bart Smit, Deep Trance Channeler and Peter Fink, Innovative Hypnosis Consulting as well as many others.


Lindsay has managed a Centre for Mental Health supporting people with significant mental health issues to live in the community. Her passion for community inclusiveness, self determination and respect for uniqueness and individuality has been the foundation of her teaching and curriculum development at Conestoga College in both post diploma Registered Nursing and Registered Practical Nursing programs as well as coordinating the Mental Health Multidisciplinary program. Lindsay is also a Certified Mental Health Works trainer offering training across Canada, with in the corporate world to employers who want to increase awareness of mental health in the work place and managers who want to learn how to effectively support and accomodate someone struggling with mental health in the work place.


Lindsay's personal life journey has taken her on a path of understanding life and conscious living from the birthing process through to death. She has worked intensely with families as their lives change with the birth of a new child as well as working specifically with women struggling with post partum mood disorders. Both as a volunteer with Hospice of Waterloo Region and throughout her career and her personal life, Lindsay has supported both the family members and the dying person as their life transitions and a physical body leaves this world.


With a passion for life and understanding the importance of all relationships, Lindsay has made a personal commitment to living an authentic life, living from a place of personal truth and supporting others with a similar desire.
