A Quick Note from Lindsay:

As many of you know, I have been recovering from surgery for the past couple of months.  I have felt the power of prayer, meditation and intentions first hand.  This personal journey has opened many doors in my own learning of my life path especially in regards to vulnerability and the power of letting go.  I have found the only way to heal was to stop “doing” and incorporate a state of “being” in all that I do.  This awareness is flowing in to all areas of my life including the way I work and move through life.  I appreciate your patience as I tread in this unchartered territory and figure out how to authentically BE in all that I do when it comes to my work.


Fall Meditations

I will be offering meditation classes again but they will be looking a bit different than they have in the past. Some people are asking for more meditation time while others are wanting discussion around a particular topic. Then there are also those who are trying to settle in to a regular practice, and tips around meditation would be helpful.  I’m hoping that there will be a little something to meet everyone’s needs.  If you think I could be offering something that I haven’t included here, as always, I welcome your feedback.

 


A Note about the Full Moon and New Moon Meditation Classes

The Full Moon and New Moon are both powerful energetic times in the month.  The New Moon is a great time to commit to new intentions, or give thought to making a change honouring the void or silence within.  The Full Moon is a more explosive time, a time to take action especially in regards to any intentions made over the New Moon time.

To honour this, all New Moon meditations will be designed with a strong intention to silently and consciously connect more deeply with one Self.  At the beginning of the meditation class, there will be time to clearly identify your intention for the month ahead.  This will be followed by both guided and silent meditation and the class will end in silence allowing you to carry that sacred space forward in to the weeks ahead. 

All Full Moon meditations will be designed with a pertinent topic that Lindsay will teach about, followed by an opportunity to sit in both guided and silent meditation allowing the knowledge and new awareness to integrate in to your being.  This will end with an opportunity to ask questions that may have arisen during the meditation pertinent to the topic of the night.

Bring your Willingness to Commit to a Life Changing Intention

Monday Evening Dec. 2, 2013 at 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.  (New Moon time: 7:22 p.m.)

Full Moon Meditation with Focused Topic:

Meeting Our Resistance and Allowing a Life of Ease

Location: 200 Dawson St. Waterloo, ON

Cost: $25 (HST included) per session

Friday Evening October 18, 2013 at 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. (Full Moon time: 7:38 p.m.)

               Topic:  Meeting Our Resistance

Sunday Morning November 17, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. (Full Moon time: 10:16 a.m.)

               Topic: Allowing a Life of Ease

(Please note that some of these are in the morning rather than our traditional evening times)

Registration for each of the Full Moon and New Moon classes is required in advance as seating is limited.  Payment may be made in cash the day of the class.  Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow for payment. To register please contact Lindsay through email at lindsay@livingalldimensions.com or call 519 342 9060

Please bring your own meditation stool, cushion or pillow and whatever else you need to be comfortable during this time.  If you are unable to sit comfortably on the floor, please let Lindsay know in advance and alternate arrangements will be arranged for you.


 4 Week Meditation Series: Beginning a Meditation

Practice or Enhancing your Existing Practice

This series is designed for anyone who feels they would benefit from gathering tips and ideas to enhance or alter an existing practice or start a new meditation practice. No meditation experience is necessary!

Every Monday Evening starting: November 4 – 25, 2013 inclusive 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Location: 200 Dawson St. Waterloo, ON

Cost: $100. Plus HST ($113.00)

There are as many ways to meditate as there are people on this earth.  This series will allow you to explore different methods, techniques and tools for meditation allowing you to create a practice that works best for you.

This series will support you to develop a comfortable, non resistant meditation practice by exploring some of the following concepts:

  • breath
  • posture 
  • facing different directions
  • witnessing of an active mind
  • guided meditation and imagery
  • silence
  • meditation through the chakras
  • mindful eating
  • walking meditation

 

This is a closed series and each class will build on the class before so it would be helpful to commit to all four but not necessary. To register please contact Lindsay through email at lindsay@livingalldimensions.com or call 519 342 9060
