It’s the start of the new year and many of us focus on making some changes, creating more time for ourselves, cleaning up the clutter and the like. All of these things are so important for us in taking control of our life. However, many of us start out the new year well intentioned and then life takes over and we’re back to the way it was before, losing momentum and focus.
I have found the practice of meditation is the one thing that keeps me inspired and focused on my life, less distracted and more accountable for the goals I set for myself.
I’m offering only one 4 week session this spring and it will begin on Monday January 19 and run through until February 9, 2015. If you are wanting to start a practice and have minimal to no experience with meditation, this class is for you. We will explore different ways of meditating each week accessing meditation through Body (breath and movement), Mind (mantras) and Spirit (energy awareness and chakras). No prior knowledge is necessary!
The intention of the series is that you will find one aspect that is easiest for you as not all meditation techniques work for everyone. The fourth class will be determined by the group throughout the weeks together, either enhancing an area started or something entirely new (ie. meditation through hypnosis, eating meditation, walking meditation, masculine / feminine energy balancing).
If you have an already established meditation practice but would like the benefits of working with the energy of the group, you may also find this series beneficial.
There are 10 spaces available and preregistration is necessary.
Cost: $100. plus HST for a total of $113.

New Moon Meditations
Each New Moon Meditation will be 1 hour and 15 minutes in length and will include a minimum of 45 minutes of silent and / or guided meditation. We will use the energy of the new moon to set our intentions for the month. There may be some brief discussion about a particular theme that is important to the group or current events in the world at that time that may inspire our meditation as a group for the evening.

Thursday February 18 @ 7 – 8:15 p.m.
Thursday March 19 @ 7 – 8:15 p.m.
Each New Moon meditation is a stand alone event and separate registration is required for each.
